The Costs of Online Therapy

  • Individual one-on-one sessions are 45 minutes long cost €95.
  • Couple or family sessions are 60 minutes long cost €125.

If you would like to request a more customized session structure based on your specific circumstances and needs (such as family group sessions), our intake team will be happy to assist and advise you on the associated costs.

Reimbursements and Insurance Policy

Global Online Therapy is not associated with any health insurers, so, most of the time, they will not cover the costs of your sessions. This was a decision we made purposefully to ensure that you could access support without needing a referral from a doctor first or waiting for an extended period on a waiting list before receiving the assistance and support you need.

Your treatment will also never be dictated by what your insurance is willing to cover, and we are under no obligation to provide your personal information to any third party, ensuring that you’re in complete control of your private data and what gets shared.

Many international health insurance providers have transitioned into the digital age and now offer coverage for online therapy sessions. However, whether your sessions at Global Online Therapy will be covered heavily depends on your service provider and specific policy.     For your online therapy sessions, all you need is a stable internet connection and an electronic device, such as a mobile phone, tablet, or computer. Please ensure that the audio and mic on your device are working so you can hear the therapist, and the Therapist can hear you. For video calls, you’ll also need to ensure that the camera on your device is working.
    That’s not a problem at all. Your therapist will typically have a contingency plan in place for situations like this. Still, in general, you’ll either move to another device, another spot, or, worst case scenario, reschedule the session.
    No. Online therapy sessions will never be recorded without the mutual agreement and explicit consent of both parties.
